The fact that there isn’t a lot of gay hentai aimed at actual gay men is fucked up.
A lot of fujoshi (yaoi fangirls) take their obsession too far by shipping real life men together even if they aren’t a couple and act creepy towards real life gay men. Yaoi also tends to promote a lot of harmful tropes like rape, pedophilia/shota, age gaps, teacher/student romance, incest, abuse, etc and makes gay male relationships look unhealthy. Real life gay relationships don’t work that way. The male characters in yaoi tend to be super feminine and one acts as the “man” and one acts as the “woman” in the relationship. It portrays gay men inaccurately with offensive sterotypes as well that are very different than gay men in reality. Feminazis complain about the objectification of women in porn through the “male gaze”, but they never mention the reverse which is hypocritical.
It dehumanizes gay males and reduces them to sex objects. It objectifies men through the female gaze. It is harmful because it fetishizes gay men and gay male relationships. Yaoi is gay anime porn made by women, made for women.
